5 footballers to look out for in the Fifa U-17 World Cup:

5. Amine Gouiri (France):

The 17-year old Frenchman is currently the hottest prospect for the French side Olympique Lyonnais. The young forward is capable of big things as he showed during the Euro U-17, scoring eight goals. A lot is expected from Amine as he travels with the French team to India to make sure his side does well in the tournament. On his day, Amine can run riot and hopefully we can get to see his best this U-17 World Cup.

4. Abel Ruiz (Spain):

Spain has always produced some of the best talents in the world of football. Abel Ruiz is one such case. The Spaniard was the captain of the Spanish U-17 team that won the Under-17 Euro Championships in May. Abel is the product of the famous and Barcelona’s phenomenal youth academy La Masia. Abel scored four times and assisted on three other goals in the Euro Championships, and the same will be expected of him in this tournament.

3. Josh Sargent (USA):

The American has already played for the USA in the U-20 World Cup this year. Yes, he is that good, and he will be back again with the USA, becoming the second player to represent the USA in two World Cups in the same year. After scoring four goals in the U-20 World Cup, Josh will be high on confidence, and his country will be relying on him to make the difference once again in India.

2. Vinicius Jr. (Brazil):

The youngster grabbed a lot of attention when he recently signed for Real Madrid. The Flamengo forward is having a phenomenal year. Although he will be loaned out to Flamengo for the 2018-19 Spanish season, Vinicius is highly anticipated to achieve big things with the Los Blancos. In March this year, he was highly instrumental in helping Brazil win the U-17 South American Championship by scoring seven goals as he was named the best player of the tournament. A similar performance is expected from the youngster in the FIFA U-17 World Cup in India.

1. Aniket Jadhav (India):

Not many Indian footballers are known at the big stage, but Aniket Jadhav is here to make his mark. Aniket is a pacey forward with a knack of scoring goals regularly for his country. The 17-year old wants to showcase his talent, and he has the perfect stage to exactly do that. With the tournament in India, things will be a bit easier for the Indian forward. Aniket aspires to play on foreign soil someday, and this tournament can be the foundation for that.
