The best Premier League footballers of 2017

       David Silva (Manchester City)

The Spaniard is now a very experienced player in the Premier League and certainly a veteran at Manchester City. He has been an integral part of the City side that has witnessed success more frequently in the last ten years. This season, Silva has stepped up his game under the guidance of Pep Guardiola and has been very effective for the Blues. He scored five times, that too when City desperately needed a goal and had been involved in eight other goals.

      Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

The Egyptian has been a delight to watch with the Reds. Traditionally being a winger, Salah has been incredibly involved in goals for the Merseyside club. Having already scored 17 goals and involved in 5 other goals, Salah is already proving to be the signing of the season. His incredible pace, immaculate ball control and scintillating technique has done wonders for him and Liverpool, and it is pretty evident that Liverpool are a lot dependent on the Egyptian to make the difference more than often.

      David De Gea (Manchester United)

Manchester United have suffered a lot since the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson but if there’s one thing that has been consistent, it has been the form of Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea. De Gea has been simply outstanding between the sticks over the past few years, becoming one of the best goalkeepers in the world. His reflexes, positioning and reactions have been fantabulous to make stunning saves and keep United in the game. United are lucky to have a goalkeeper of his stature and it is best that they soon win major trophies before once again risking De Gea to Real Madrid.

      Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City)

The Belgian midfielder has been a gem of a signing by Manchester City. The former Chelsea man is amazing with the ball on his feet. He has got the technique, the vision and the mentality to become the best midfielder in the world. He is certainly ruling the Premier League this season with his creating and passing abilities and it is safe to say that Pep Guardiola relies immensely on De Bruyne to break apart the opposition defense. He is arguably one of the finest midfielders in the world right now and can achieve big things with the form he is in.

      Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur)

One thing Kane has surely proved wrong is that he is no one-season wonder. The English striker’s consistent goalscoring record has silenced some of his biggest critics. He has already broken Alan Shearer’s record for most goals scored in the Premier League in a calendar year, having scored 18 goals already this season. He is absolutely dangerous and lethal inside the box and has the abilities to achieve more such goal scoring feats if he carries on in the same way.
